Site specific installation at Elizabeth Street Garden, NYC, for the exhibition, A Particular Kind of Solitude, curated by Serra Sebuncuoglu.

With layers of resin and various pigments I created a slab of fake ice to fit inside one of two stone basins that live in Elizabeth Street Garden. I wanted to see what it feels like if, in the heat of summer, I’d chance upon frozen rain water inside an antique garden trough.
